EVERYONE IS WELCOME
ACCESIBILITY & INCLUSIVITY
We want as many people as possible to feel comfortable, confident and welcome when visiting Wetley Moor.
As a working farm in a rural setting, some areas can present accessibility challenges, but we'll always do our best to make reasonable adjustments and help you plan a visit that works for you.
If you or somebody in your group has additional accessibility requirements, please get in touch before your visit. We're always happy to talk through your chosen experience and how we can best support you.

GETTING AROUND THE FARM
Wetley Moor Alpacas is a working farm and many of our experiences take place outdoors on natural ground. Surfaces include grass, gravel and uneven ground and can become muddy following wet weather.
Some areas of the main visitor site are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs, while the surrounding moorland and some animal areas can be more challenging.
If you have limited mobility or use a wheelchair or mobility aid, please contact us before booking. We can explain exactly where your chosen experience takes place and discuss alternative routes or adapted animal interactions where possible.
FACILITIES
🚗 Accessible Parking
Dedicated reserved parking spaces are available during our events, providing close access to the main visitor area and accessible routes.
🚻 Toilets
A composting toilet is available year-round, although please be aware that this facility may be challenging for some wheelchair users.
During our larger seasonal events, we provide a dedicated accessible toilet.
We recognise that our current year-round toilet facilities could be more accessible and are working towards providing a new, more accessible toilet facility for visitors.
🪑 Seating
An undercover seating area is available throughout the year, providing somewhere to sit, rest or take a break during your visit.
🌦️ Outdoor Setting
We're an outdoor attraction, so conditions underfoot can change with the weather. Please contact us if you'd like an update on conditions before travelling.

NEURODIVERSITY & ADDITIONAL NEEDS
A VISIT THAT WORKS FOR YOU
We understand that busy environments, unfamiliar places and new experiences can affect everyone differently.
Our team regularly welcomes visitors with additional needs and we're happy to adapt the pace and structure of an experience wherever possible.
Depending on the visitor and experience, this might include additional processing time, quieter visits, gradual introductions to our animals, clear explanations before activities, additional space or the opportunity to take a break when needed.
We also offer private and group experiences which can be tailored around individual requirements.
If there's something that would make your visit easier, please tell us.
INTERACTING WITH OUR ANIMALS
EXPERIENCES THAT CAN ADAPT
You don't necessarily have to take part in every element of an experience to enjoy spending time with our animals.
Where it is safe and practical, our team can adapt animal interactions around individual needs. This might mean meeting an animal in a more accessible location, taking things at a slower pace or adapting how an activity is carried out.
The welfare of our animals and the safety of our visitors will always come first, so some activities or locations may not be suitable for everyone.

PLANNING A VISIT?
TALK TO US BEFORE YOU COME
If you're unsure whether an experience is suitable for you or somebody you're visiting with, please ask.
Tell us which experience you're interested in and anything you'd like us to consider. We'll give you honest information about the site and discuss any reasonable adjustments we may be able to make.
