Please note: our postcode does not bring you quite far enough along Eaves Lane. Once your sat nav says you have arrived, continue along Eaves Lane until you see signs for Wetley Moor Alpacas.
Please do not turn off Eaves Lane onto any smaller tracks or lanes before you see our Wetley Moor Alpacas sign.
🕒 OPENING HOURS
OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK | 10AM–3PM
Wetley Moor Alpacas is open daily, however all animal experiences should be booked in advance. This allows us to plan our day and make sure the animals and team needed for your experience are ready for you.
Experiences take place at set times throughout the day and availability varies. On some days, seasonal events, private visits or other activities may mean our usual experiences aren't running.
We may occasionally be able to accommodate visitors who arrive without a booking, but this cannot be guaranteed, particularly if our walk leaders are already running experiences or are not on the farm.
We strongly recommend booking before you travel to avoid disappointment.
🚗 ARRIVING & PARKING
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
When you arrive at Wetley Moor Alpacas, park in our free visitor car park and then make your way to the wooden cabin to check in.
Please aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before your experience starts.
This gives you time to:
Check in with our team
Use the toilet before your experience
Make sure your footwear is suitable for the conditions
Borrow a pair of wellies if needed
As a working farm, the ground can be muddy, wet and uneven, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
Your experience will begin at its scheduled time, so please make sure you're checked in and ready to go.

👢 WHAT TO WEAR
COME PREPARED FOR FARM LIFE
Wetley Moor is a working farm and many of our experiences take place on grass, fields, bridleways and natural countryside.
Conditions can be uneven, wet and muddy, particularly following rain.
We recommend:
🥾 Sturdy footwear or wellies
🧥 Waterproof clothing when needed
☀️ Sun protection during warmer weather
🧤 Plenty of warm layers in winter
🌦️ WHAT IF IT RAINS?
WE DON'T LET A LITTLE RAIN STOP US
Most of our experiences continue in typical British weather, including light rain, so please check the forecast and come appropriately dressed.
If severe weather makes an experience unsafe for our visitors or animals, we'll contact affected guests as soon as possible.
If we cancel, you'll be offered an alternative date or a voucher for the value of your booking.

♿ ACCESSIBILITY
PLANNING AN ACCESSIBLE VISIT
We want as many people as possible to enjoy Wetley Moor and are happy to discuss individual accessibility requirements before your visit.
Our Meet & Greet experience is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs and is our recommended animal experience for visitors with limited mobility.
Our trekking experiences follow rural bridleways which can be rough, uneven and muddy and are therefore not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or walking aids.
We also offer reduced carer tickets for selected experiences, reserved accessible parking during events and welcome assistance dogs by prior arrangement.
