Born from a love of animals and the Staffordshire countryside, Wetley Moor Alpacas has grown from a small alpaca trekking experience into a thriving rural attraction welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
Our animals are at the heart of everything we do, supported by a passionate team of Walk Leaders and volunteers who share our commitment to animal welfare, our local community and the beautiful Wetley Moor we call home.
ALPACA & DONKEY EXPERIENCES
Head out onto beautiful Wetley Moor for an unforgettable 60–75 minute adventure with one of our much-loved alpacas or donkeys. You'll be carefully partnered with your animal before our experienced Walk Leaders guide you across the moor, sharing their knowledge of our animals, their individual personalities, local wildlife and the landscape we call home.

Age restrictions apply to independently walking our animals. Under 3s must be carried in a suitable carrier.
EVERYONE DESERVES TO EXPERIENCE WETLEY MOOR
We want as many people as possible to enjoy our animals and beautiful surroundings. If a standard group trek isn't suitable due to reduced mobility, disability or additional needs, please contact us before booking.
Where appropriate, we can offer quieter private sessions, shorter walks or an alternative wheelchair-friendly route at no additional cost.

Relaxed, hands-on animal experiences – perfect for families with younger children.
Spend 30 minutes getting up close with our much-loved alpacas and donkeys. Meet and pet the animals, learn about their individual personalities and enjoy plenty of photo opportunities with the help of our friendly team.

From hen parties and celebrations to schools, community groups and private visits, we can tailor our animal experiences to suit your group.
Choose from alpaca and donkey trekking, animal feeding and hands-on encounters, with options available for groups of different ages, abilities and requirements.
We can also bring our animals to weddings, events and outreach visits, bringing a little bit of Wetley Moor to you.
