APACA KEEPER EXPERIENCE
Come and learn how to look after alpacas, get involved in the daily activities involved in keeping alpacas, learn how to headcollar and handle our alpacas and then take your alpaca out for a trek on the moor.
Suitable for ages 5-16, children must be accompanied by a supervisory adult.

ALPACA TREKKING @ WETLEY MOOR
WHAT IS INCLUDED
60 minute experience trekking with our alpacas across the beautiful Wetley Moor Common learning about, meeting and walking our animals. Suitable for all ages!

£30.00 - Adult with an Alpaca (16+)
£25.00 - Child with an Alpaca (Ages 8*-15)
£15.00 - Adult without an Alpaca (16+)
£10.00 - Child without an Alpaca (Ages 3*-15)
£35.00 - Adult & Child With an Alpaca
£65.00 - Family Special Offer ( 2 Adults & 2 Children Sharing 2 Alpacas)
*Ages 8-15 can walk an alpaca but must be accompanied by an adult without an alpaca.
** Under 3's can join the walk for free but must be in a carrier as the common is not suitable for pushchairs

30 minute experience on our farm learning about, meeting and petting our animals, with plenty of photo opportunities. Perfect for families with small children.

Send us a message to discuss our group booking options. We are happy to accommodate larger groups and can offer a discounted rate. Our alpacas are available for hen parties, school group visits, and large group bookings.
We will try to accommodate whatever your requirements may be.
We are also able to take our boys to events, weddings, and outreach activities. Please contact us if you would like more information!
MORE INFORMATION
We cannot allow spectators on our trekking experience. All walkers must have a valid ticket.
The trekking experience is a physical activity which involves walking up gentle hills and over uneven terrain. You must be capable of walking at a pace that keeps up with the rest of the group without putting a strain on your health so please consider this before attending the experience.
Please be aware that during the Winter months the moor gets very wet and muddy. You must ensure that you have suitable footwear that you don't mind getting dirty, wellies would be the best option. If you decide to join our experience but realise that the terrain is too tricky please let one of our staff know that will be able to help you.
When bringing young children, adults must feel confident that their child can walk the whole distance of this experience. If they cannot, you must bring a sling or a carrier as our experiences are not suitable for pushchairs, we walk on bridal paths which are narrow and often wet and muddy.
If you participate in an experience we recommend you thoroughly wash your hands after being around any of our animals, especially before consuming food.
